Cassie Marchuk is a certified Pilates
instructor from the Total Balance® studio in
Ontario. She learned from master trainer
Christine De Bellefeule, who is considered
one of the top Pilates instructors in Canada.
She has further completed STOTT PILATES®
training in Halifax, NS and Reformer
Certification in Vancouver, BC.
STOTT PILATES is one of the most
comprehensive teacher-training programs in
the world, and is considered a professional
standard of excellence and innovation.
Cassie is also Vice President of the Pilates
Association of Canada, a not-for-profit
agency that governs Pilates standards.
Pilates is her passion- she discovered the
benefits of Pilates when chronic back pain
threatened her health. Because Pilates
changed her life she feels obligated and
privileged to share her experience with
others.

Alma Klarich is a certified Pilates Mat
instructor and BCRPA certified group fitness
leader and has been teaching group fitness
since 2000.
She has specialized in Pre and Post Natal
fitness taken through Melanie Osmack of Fit
4 Two in Vancouver.
Most recently she has been certified in the
Pilates Method from the Pilates Den in
Vancouver- training with Emmie Li, who was
the first in Canada to be awarded the
prestigious Gold Level Teacher Certification
from The Pilates Method Alliance.
Margery Corrigan is a fitness, post-rehab
and Pilates Instructor. She began her fitness
career more that 15 years ago working
through the levels of Weight Trainer,
Aerobics Instructor, Aquatic Exercise and
Personal Trainer.
Her passion for fitness led her to complete
the Kinesiology-based Fitness & Exercise
Management Diploma in 2000 at UCFV.
Margery focuses on fitness for all levels. She
expanded her scope to Post-rehab
(specialized fitness programming for people
recovering from injury or illness). Helping
people to preserve their bodies through a
long and active life is her goal.
When she was introduced to STOTT Pilates
approximately 7 years ago, she realized
what a profound exercise it was.

She treats everyone individually and
understands limitations and health needs.
She focuses on the mind/body connection,
reminding all of us to cherish the most
important gift we have-our body.
She will challenge you to focus, breathe
deeply, and work your body consciously.
It is the perfect mesh of strength, mobility,
and core. Since that time she has been
happy to share this method with her clients.
She practices Pilates as part of her own
fitness program. It has helped her to
continue to run several times per week,
work in her garden, play with her
granddaughter and enjoy a healthy, active
life into the second 1/2 century of her life!
As a Registered Nutritional Product Advisor,
Alma has coached clients in areas of weight
loss, nutrition, and stress management, and
has consulted on the development of an
educational series on nutrition and exercise
for a wellness centre start-up.
Having worked and trained alongside a
certified clinical and counselling
hypnotherapist, her knowledge of relaxation
techniques is a nice complement to her
interest in mind and body fitness.
No matter what your fitness level or stage in
life, Alma invites you to join her classes.
Amanda McDermid began her love of dance
at the age of three and has been teaching
dance for ten years. She teaches many
forms of dance, including ballet, tap, hip hop
and jazz.
Amanda has always valued physical fitness
and got involved in Pilates to further her
personal health.
She was fascinated by how much control
and focus Pilates workouts demanded- and
was hooked!
She has since taken her STOTT Pilates
training in both Mat and Reformer in
Kelowna, BC

Pilates Instructor & Personal Trainer
Wendy Peterson began teaching Pilates at
a dance studio and a local gym in 2002.
She has worked out of a private training
studio for the last four years and has
developed her skills as a personal trainer.
Being a trainer is not a job for Wendy, it is a
lifestyle. It’s about building relationships and
supporting people in reaching their goals.
She has an appreciation for life and loves to
help people get the most out of it by
showing them how to build strength both
inside and out.
She realizes everyone has the potential and
ability to be challenged, and the benefits of
exercise carry into everyday activities,
therefore, enhancing quality of life.
