Instructors
Cassie Marchuk is a certified Pilates Instructor from STOTT
PILATES® receiving training in Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver,
and Victoria. She is fully certified in Mat, Reformer, and
Injuries and Special Populations.

STOTT PILATES® is one of the most comprehensive teacher-
training programs in the world, and is considered a
professional standard of excellence and innovation. To
maintain certification
STOTT PILATES® Instructors are
required to take Continuing Education.

She has completed further workshops for:
  • Pre & Post Natal Pilates
  • Pilates for Sport Conditioning
  • Pilates for Golf
  • Pilates for Post-Rehab
  • Pilates for Shoulder Girdle and Pelvic Girdle alignment
  • Pilates for knee and hip dysfunction
Cassie incorporates many forms of movement in her classes and has completed further
specialized training in Cadillac, Chair and Barrels with Marie Jose Blom (
Smart Spine
Training) and Colleen Jorgensen's Rehab Through Pilates. Recently, Cassie has been
taking training in the Boulder style of Pilates with Matilda Christensen and
Pilates From
the Center- a classically trained school of The Pilates Center Training Program in
Boulder, CO.

Cassie has been teaching for over ten years and has a strong commitment to
Continuing Education and learning new techniques to help clients achieve the maximum
benefit for their particular bodies.

She started taking Pilates originally because of a debilitating back injury and has never
looked back. Her passion for clients with injuries and special needs is apparent to all
those she instructs. She will challenge you to focus, breathe deeply and work your
body consciously.
Amber Durant is a fully Certified Instructor through
STOTT PILATES®. She is certified in Reformer, Mat,
Chair, and Injuries and Special Populations, taking her
training in Vancouver and Victoria.

She found Pilates in 2001 and fell in love with all that it
had to offer and has been developing her technique
since then.

She has also started to train in the Boulder Method of
Pilates with Matilda Christensen from
Pilates From the
Center- a classically trained school of The Pilates Center
Teacher Training Program in Boulder, CO.
 

She has completed
further workshops for:
  • Advanced Matwork
  • Spring into Mat
  • Pilates for knee and hip dysfunction
  • Prenatal Pilates on the Reformer
  • Postural Analysis & Review

Amber enjoys learning new techniques to teach her clients. She has an appreciation
for life and loves to help people get the most out of it by showing them how to build
strength from the inside out.

She has a passion for teaching private and semi-private sessions where she can really
focus on each individual client's needs.

Her enthusiasm for movement and Pilates is appreciated by all of her clients. As well as
her quirky sense of humour.
Melissa Phillips is a fully certified Instructor through
STOTT
PILATES® in Vancouver and Victoria. She is
certified in Mat, Reformer, and Injuries and Special
Populations.

She is very passionate about Pilates with a keen
interest in pre and post natal fitness. Melissa is an
active mother with a passion not only for running, but
for running around after her two year old!  

She has completed further workshops for:
  • BCRPA Certified Group Fitness Instructor
  • F.E.M Camp Fitness & Nutrition
  • Postural Analysis and Review

Fitness has been a big part of her life for the last 18 years where she has dabbled in
group fitness, running, and strength training.

She is registered with BCRPA as a Fitness Leader in Fitness Theory and has her
Certificate of completion in both Weight Training and Group Fitness Instructor Courses.

She has a strong commitment to overall health and wellness and providing her son
with a healthy role model.

She will challenge you, encourage you, and  remind you to respect and cherish the
most important asset you have- your body.
Carmalita Seimens is a Registered Yoga Teacher,
200 Hour RYT trained Instructor in the Ashtanga and
Iyengar lineage.  The profession of Yoga is
regulated by standards and educational
requirements set out by Yoga Alliance and a
Registered Yoga Teacher must meet continuing
educational standards to ensure up to date
practices are used.

Carmalita is also a member of Yoga Alliance and is
working towards her Experienced 200 Hour
Registered Yoga Teacher certification.

Carmalita is true blue outdoor enthusiast and found Yoga to maintain her balance,
flexibility and strength while out on the trails mountain biking and dirt biking. Her
background in Small Business coaching and Finance have also taught her that
foundation and flexibility is key to wellness.

She enjoys teaching newbies and the experienced practitioner alike, bringing a sense
of fun and freedom with her while respecting your starting point of flexibility.  Her style
of hosting your Yoga experience creates a sense of calm and inspiration to safely
practice and play on the mat, no matter what your fitness level or stage in life.

She is also interested in the Pilates teacher training and looks forward to immersing
herself in this style of training in the future.
